I know this is a name that has not been mentioned seriously but why not? Even just to jar of the lot down the road. I know we want things sorted soon but is it worth waiting a couple of weeks/until the play offs are decided as there are going to be a few names available most likely. Came away from today hoping that it is not an ex player. We need to get rid of that mentality. Thoughts?
I do think Mackay probably is our best option for an immediate return. I don't see him as the best choice to progress further than that however. Managers rarely change and adapt, particularly British ones.
Code: I don't see what everyone has against Malky? Ok he might not be exotic and foreign but he is proven and has got a team promoted before, recently and knows what it takes. I also think he was sacked a bit unfairly by the nutjob that owns Cardiff.
I'm certainly pleased we don't have OGS. He'll be sacked within 6 weeks of the start of the season, just does not look or sound like a manager.
They always have Barry Manilow to keep them entertained. If you didnt see him on Graham Norton on Friday night then watch it on iplayer. Even manilow was embarrassed to be playing there.
You are going to spend more than 25k this window then? And Hampy accuses Norwich of having no ambition.
Yeah treacle, i mean we could spunk 8.5 million on a centre forward to score a hatful of goals. Now thats ambition.
Thats hardly your style, you'd far rather borrow 70 million on a whole bunch of players and sit in the footballing wilderness for another decade.
Well done Guru for the freebie. I am surprised you couldnt see that one coming. But hey it is you after all.
This. His record with Cardiff in the Championship was impressive - second highest scorers I think. But I suspect, like many a promising young British manager, bottom half of the Premier League is absolutely his limit.
Championship scoring statistics don't appear to translate well to the Prem then, wasn't Hughton's Newcastle the league's top scorers?
