    I know this should be posted on Mackem board but you get more of a repsonse here.

    Just been reading the BBC match report of the Unwashed v Wolves and hadn't realised that this was McCarthy's 1st win at the Stadium of Plight despite him being a past Sunderland manager.

    That was under Howard Wilkinson, pretty shocking really when you bear in mind even Kevin Ball won a PL game at SOL.
