Listening to this plum on the radio coming back from work tonight and he came out with an absolute pearler? Only a mag affiliated commentator could say this and mean it. Discussing the game tonight with Jon Anderson and how it must be a better performance than at the weekend v Man City he said (paraphrasing).......

"Did Newcastle take their eye of the ball against City and maybe not put as much effort in" ....Lol

I guess the fact they were playing the current Champions of England and at their home had **** all to do with it? I guess if they hadnt, they would have stuffed City instead of just losing by the odd goal in 4?

To Jon Anderson's credit, he immediately seemed to distance himself from what he had heard and you could almost hear him gasp.

    Mick Lowes - prize plum.

I love the way they all think they are well safe mate. They probably are but I'd love to see them lose sight of the fact they are only 2 points above us.
