So he's had a knee problem for weeks but played anyway. A very foolish decision imo and looks like he will pay the price. Let's hope we don't too. But as others have said, this may be a blessing in disguise. There are probably two reasons he hasn't been himself recently, (a) the injury (b) the partnership with Bony hasn't been working and there has been a suggestion of a Spanish stitch up. Just like in any workplace when a newcomer comes in, there are always teething problems. Over the last few weeks, in particular the West Ham game, I felt that Michu should be given a break/dropped or whatever you want to call it. He now has an enforced short term break and from a team point of view that may not be a bad thing.
