Beat me to it was logging on to do this, yet again another good signing from the Premiership and I remember reading the story about him being an electrician but he looks a good player and I remember Newcastle fans talking about him as a good player, not sure if he will ever break through and be a Premiership player but he is good from what I remember and has been on the bench a number of times, also good to see he is a central midfielder and I think he does play at the back as well.

I have gone and asked the Newcastle fans what they think of him as I do remember them talking about him being a good player in the reserves and how he has stepped up but I don't know too much about what he plays like, still good than he is a central midfielder.

He has been listening to what BRB has to say, now he wants to prove him wrong.

There is nothing more exciting than a young winger, running without fear, and taking on the opposing defence
and making things happen. I remember John Barnes then an 18 year old free spirit on the wing for Watford. Fantastic!
(That was in the days before Liverpool turned him in to a muscle bound replacement for Jimmy Case! )

Wish I could be there tomorrow, but my wife caught up with me at Larnaca Airport and has locked me in my room!

    You lucky people!

    Sir Keefy

thankyou for your concern young man. Yes, I escaped custody last night disguised as a Greek Orthodox Monk.
As today is the Cypriot General Election, I am keeping a low profile and keeping my head down up in the Troodos
Mountains with my crystal set tuned to Radio Kent.
, When the new Pres takes Office the EU will then transfer the 17 Billion smackers they have promised us, and I will come
the mountain to arrange my cheap bank loan. UTG !

    Keef
yesterday I attended the funeral of a friend at Paralimni Cemetry. He was buried in what is known as
'The British Corner'. Looking at the graves of some recent 'additions' I was shocked to see that most were younger
than me! So, trust me when i say ...you are a young man Sir Keefy.

Yesterday when I saw a photo of Michael Richardson in a Kent on Line article. it reminded me of another
red haired young boy who came down from the North East to start off his, what was to become, illustrioius
career at Priestfield Who? .... why Steve bruce of course.

Evening. Just out of interest, has Richardson played much and what do you make of him? Peter Beardsley seems to rate him highly.

He played 45 minutes today JG. Missed an absolute sitter from 8 yards - first touch wasn't needed and wasn't very good whilst the shot just about stayed in the ground. Not too impressed I'm afraid and he didn't come back out for the 2nd half. H'way the toon!
