all the praise is going to Van Persie's finish and Welbeck's hard working display, Carrick isn't getting the credit he deserves. he's highly Under rated, has hard work always goes unnoticed. he was fantastic today, his passing was sublime and not to forget he made some key interceptions and stopped some dangerous looking Liverpool attack. Carrick's passing was just fantastic. for me even though Danny Welbeck apart from his finishing (which he needs to improve), was superb today, he worked his socks off and produced a hard working display, i think Micheal Carrick should of been the man of the match.Carrick was just He was brilliant. who else agree's Carrick should of been my Man of the match?
Welbeck's finishing was awful though, game would have been won by half time if his finishing was good. Carrick has always been underrated.
yep he really needs to improve his finishing, once he done that, he could become a world class striker in the future. thats true, even today, his work is going unnoticed, even by our fans sometimes
Carrick was quite good today in the first half I still don't think he's any sort of special talent but he had a good match
Carrick had a good game especially in the first half. In my opinion, he has been underrated by some United fans, but hopefully these kind of performances make these fans change their mind. He was not playing well early on in the season, but has improved considerably as the season has gone on.
that's true, like what Sir Alex said before, Carrick's game always improves at december which i do agree. He does work hard for the team, against liverpool iw as pleased with his interceptions, he and some vital key interceptions to stop dangerous looking Liverpool attacks.
Second half Liverpool pressed the midfield better leaving Carrick fewer space to control and he is no Scholes who is almost impossible to press. Perhaps adding Anderson for Welbeck would have helped relieve pressure on midfield. P.S. Evra like Carrick has been a notable player thus far.
