Swansea Manager Michael Laudrup has finally acknowledged the part NOT606 played in his remaining as Swansea manager. Laudrup stated," I would like to thank all of the posters on NOT606 who constantly complained about the behaviour of the board and Huw Jenkins in particular. I really enjoyed the many posts that predicted my leaving because of the inability to deliver 200million - not a bad number to choose. It is obvious that we would not have made signings such as Bony without the faithfull fans barracking and picking on and calling names of the board - Huw Jemkins in particular. It was a master stroke and has worked to perfection. I did find it ironic that some of those who used this ploy to ensure the board capitulated and made sure I'd stay, were the ones who, towards the end of last season, were suggesting I be fired as I had lost the plot and didn't know how to manage!! I really can't wait until we lose to Man Utd (a distinct possibility) to see exactly what the same people will say. Anyway thanks again to all the naysayers, doommongers I couldn't have done it without you!"
