He still does play for us! and i personally still think he is a good player to this day. Very aware and does a great job when he is given a (rare) chance in the first team. He is just the loser in a very stong striking setp at the club. He has clearly lost a yard of pace at a fairly young age and i think the injuries that plague his career have taken a toll (he is out now infact after lasting two minutes into his first non carling cup start of the year) Memories? Hat trick vs Wolfsberg, but the big one. That made me instantly forgive years of him playing for liverpool. His winner in the machester derby in the 94th minute. Magic.
What would Utd fans know about Owen playing at his peak? ffs lad grow a pair and post your article on the Liverpool board we plucked Owen from nowhere,taught the lad everything,he scored a lot of goals for us,he **** on us by running his contract down losing us lots of money in the process,he went to Real and Toon and was a flop and signed for the mancs and finally fulfilled his potential since leaving us,hes now a benchwarmer. Is that bit strictly true page? Or did he sit waiting for Benitez to offer a new contract and this wasn't forthcoming so he THEN decided to look at other options?
