Afternoon guys and girls, charlton fan here, come in piece.

I am currently writing a piece about Owen and would just like to get some of your thoughts about him.

Both as a player at his peek and your memories of him when he played for you guys.

Thanks for your time and good luck for the rest of the season.

Excellent player when he was young, 80% of his game was based on pace, and especially pace over 5-15 yds, whcih is where it counts on a football field. We WITHOUT DOUBT got the best yrs out of him,his best days were over by the age of 22,partly through injury. Now he is not even remotely close to the player he once was,at the time I was gutted he left, but as it turned out, it looks like we lost him at the start of his downslope.

But he definitely screwed us by running his contract down to 1 yr,and us only gettin £8m for him,but as it turned out he lost out more than we did.Due to the way he treated us ,he will always be disliked by LFC fans, and to be fair he was never really that loved by LFC fans when he was at his best,as he seemed to care about England more.Fowler would have died for LFC and was ADORED by the fans and rightly so,and also Robbie was more clinical in the 6yd box,Robbie just didnt miss

for me the day he first ripped that hamstring he was done. he was never the same, he was utterly brilliant finisher and played with no fear. he plays with fear and in himself and now his pace is gone totally.
