Just interested if you guys would take a punt on Michael Laudrup being manager as I know the vast majority are anti-Moyes. Personally I think Moyes is doing a wonderful job, and has already broken a lot of Utd records. Also giving people like Nani a 5 year deal, playing Mata out of position, still reliant on Giggs, no real tactics etc. etc. Moyes in my eyes is a legend. Would you like to give the the great Dane a chance if you had the call? Th(o)ughts?
On the basis of winning a league cup? I thought all United managers had to come to the club with a record of massive success or they weren't worthy of a shot at it. In all seriousness though, he deserved the sack. He couldn't be arsed doing his job, common knowledge round here. Was going to leave anyway. Not worthy of being mentioned as our manager.
Laudrup tends to get bored quickly and not care. So Yeh, i'd rather keep moyes but its abit like deciding between aids and matth.
Laudrop isn't a good manager, he just continued on the good work of Martinez and then Rodgers at Swansea. His influence as one of the great players of the 90s meant that the players at Swansea instantly admired him, and looked up to him, however you want to put it. But his influence over the players has run stale the longer he has been there, and his actaual ability as a manager has come into question. David Moyes is a far better manager, hence why he remained at Everton for so long, keeping them consistently as a top half of the table side, on a limited budget
Seriously though, and I'm being serious here with furrowed brow and everything, if Moyes doesn't work out, and evidence so far suggest it just might not, **** punts! We can only employ one of the highest echelon of manager as his successor. Pep, Klopp, Jose, Ancelotti. That's it. And Sven. Always Sven.
Michu was their season last year, he's been a shadow of that player this season and so.. there you have it, literally a 1 man team. No Michu and no honeymoon feeling = Relegation worries.
