A great manager IMO, did particularly well at Getafe.

Foreign manager, great former player with no experience in England? How often does that come off?

Wenger did alright, Mancini seems to be doing ok...Rafa didnt do too bad and I guess Mourinho did so so...

All big clubs with lots of money...not too many have done well at the smaller clubs though, or I am struggling to recall any....

I actually think he would be a good appointment...very good technical player so would probably suit their current setup

edit - take your point about ex players though...Gullit or Vialli? ;)

Its a gamble, will he do an AVB or Wenger.

He doesnt have a record of staying at a job very long. He hasnt lasted a year at his last 3 jobs so I wouldnt employ him on that.

They'll do better getting a manager that can work with what they've got rather than bringing in a domestic manager that would have them play a different style.

Gives them a fighting chance IMO.
