Thought he had a chance under a new manager but can't blame him for wanting that move seeing as he's playing regularly and he's an important part of that Wycombe team. Our loss could be their gain
I will lose my **** if this happens. We own an excellent young full-back who we continue to neglect in favour of the gormless oaf Perch and now this (admittedly poor) source says we'll get rid of him.
Indeed there is but he looked perfectly competent when given a chance in the Prem. Would he be noticeably worse than Perch on probably 1/3 of the money? I'd like to wager he'd be considerably better. Maybe he is a midfielder. Who comes in when Phillips leaves?
He's been around for long enough and none of the 87 managers we've had in that time have played him so maybe he's not really good enough? Don't think I've seen him play so I can't judge.
I remember him playing for us just once, 2nd game back in the PL at Everton when we won 1-0 with a very Championship side. Think he did OK, but I've no idea really if he''s good enough for a team aspiring for the PL.
Not earlier this season, but getting there of late. Realistically to be at promotion level, I should think one of our backs ought to be at a higher level than anyone we have I've seen (not seen Robinson). Someone who can defend, and be dangerous getting forward, like Bosingwa
Harriman has played twice - away loss to Wigan 2011/12, away loss to Liverpool 2012/13. I seem to rember he did OK in the second one, and for the first we had huge injury problems. If I had any faith in the people who have been choosing the team over the last few years I would assume that he's not good enough for the Championship.
He also looked very good for Gillingham in Diviision One. Aspiring for promotion to The Premier? Not this club with these players!
I was at that Wigan game- moved to an early kick-off so Dave "I broke my leg in the cup final" Whelan could watch rugby in the afternoon. Bruno Perone played and Franco Di Santo had two **** shots take wild deflections into the top corner. Good times.
Agyemang up front, Fitz Hall and Gabbidon at the back and a sub appearance for Bruno Andrade who I assume went on to have a glittering career for Staines or some team of similar ilk. What an advert for the Premier League in front of 12000 disinterested Lancastrian pensioners.
