    That second round was pure class from both lads. I think Conlon closed the gap in the second and when the judges never scored it that way then the third round was always going to be a hiding to nothing.....he got nothing.

    That Cuban lad was very good though. He's only a kid.

    He switched to orthodox in the third and got caught going for broke. He boxed the first two southpaw. The cuban won the first round 6-3, second round 4-3 and the last 10-4.

    The Cuban was well worth it. Very well worth it but I think the judging of the second round changed the run of the fight altogether. Not an excuse as he was well beaten in the end.

    Coupla Bronzes ain't too bad I suposse. Believe more than half the Olympics medals for Ireland came from Belfast fighters.

    I mean over all. Since the start of Olympic boxing. 9 outta 16 or something. I have Virgin Broadband and the rest is Freeview. RTE is coming onto the Freeview in October.
