Just watching the US F1 and Buffer really adds the right glitz to the entrances for me.

Imagine him announce our players as they enter the field of play at SJP.

What nicknames/tags would he add to our players?

    Jamaal ‘the punisher’ Lascelles...

    Go...

I thought this was just crap, unnecessary Americanisation.

I was nearly sick in my mouth ! How the **** that bloke is worth in excess of $400m is beyond me like. I hope that is just a season one off for F1 for the USGP. It spoils the whole point of the main event (Brundle's grid walk) where we get to ogle at voluptuous pit lane birds holding up a numbered card so the drivers don't forget where to park their cars.

It really did piss me off, Americans are so up their own arses when it comes to sport and their insular games.

Have to say I wasn't overly keen with the F1 Americanisation. You expect it with the yanks of course, they like to put on a show. It was just a bit too much. What the hell Buffer was doing there I'll never know. You could see many of the drivers and genuine F1 folk were a bit bewildered. The younger generation or those in touch with it like Max, Danny Ric and Hammy all looked comfortable with it.

Anyway the best part of that whole event by an absolute mile was Kimi pulling the "Why you in here Max" face with a smirk as Max got disqualified. Love Raikkonen. Pure comedy gold.
