Retired from football after injuries at Newcastle Jets in Oz. Could have been a top striker for us but was unlucky to find himself behind one of the best premiership strike partnerships anybody has seen. Then after going to Leeds he showed that he could have been a top striker but injuries have plagued his career. Could do with him for the next few weeks here although I reckon Didier Sessegnon is ready to stand up to the plate!
Sad news. Such a talent, but a career cruelly blighted by injury. Good luck to him in whatever he does in the future.
Aye, I was gutted when he left, especially seeing him do so well for Leeds that first season. Was just never the same player after that injury. To be honest, I cant believe he has managed to play on so long.
Sad news. Everyone in Leeds thought he was going to be huge for a decade to come but like so many of our promising stars, injury wrote his career off. Best of luck to him.
