Micah Richards is by far a better defender than Johnson, better at set-pieces(defensively) and can cover in Central defence. Johnston has more tricks in his locker than any winger in the squad, and he can play both sides. Why were'nt any of them picked???
I aint a fan of Johnson but he was one of the better players this tournament but think he should be a squad player from now on For me Walker should be first choice RB and Richards played at CB As for Johnson he should be in the squad along with Sturridge
I think think touro might have been good for Adam Johnston in that Young was so awful and Downing couldn't even get on for him that Johnston if he gets a good start to the beginning of the season could easily jump ahead of both of them. He needs to be playing regularly for that though and to do that he needs to move away from City.
