The 18-year-old, who is currently impressing on loan at Colchester United, has been named in Ben Futcher's squad for their upcoming friendly against Japan at Doncaster Rovers’ Eco-Power Stadium on Friday, November 14th (KO 7.30pm GMT). Mbick is rewarded following a stellar start to life on loan with the U's, scoring five goals and providing an assist in 11 appearances across all competitions. Congratulations, Micah!
I've seen a couple of glowing reports of how well he is getting on at Colchester, both his playing ability and as a young man. It will be interesting to see how he develops as it seemed that NJ had him ranked above Dan Kanu towards the end of last season.
