Good article and he'd be mad not to have some irons in the fire. He has not played a huge amount of first team football in the last few years so outside interests must come into helping to keep his head straight. Hope he has huge success in his time at Stoke.

I don't understand why TP wanted him so much - it doesn't look like he is going to play him.

My cynical self says that Pulis can say to the disaffected, "I've bought Michael Owen"

My normal sweet natured self thinks that.Pulis would say,
"Michael Owen, just look how far this football club has come"

    We should have kept.Mr Fuller!

You are perhaps right Nick, I would think likewise. I wonder though if he just might get a longer stint on the pitch on Sunday....... he might nick the winning goal!!

No Nicky, it would be sweeter IF he scored the winner in the 93rd min me thinks. We could hold out for another 30odd sec's surly?

95 MINS ? That's Fergie time.. I just hope Owen takes part and who knows, he may even start the game. <whistle>

  11. I was just thinking if we scored early I would be even more nervous for the rest of the game and probably physically sick come the 90th minute as I nearly was at Reading!

Crouch for an equaliser and Owen for the winner with both crosses by Pennant, should do the trick.

And the ball to hit Suarez in the face, so hard that he didn't look like the donkey from shrek.

If anybody is going to the match on Sunday don't forget your diving scorecards......... 5.9 from me!!

Yes, Suarez will get a penalty after going down in the box, but replays will show that he lost balance after being weighed down by his teeth!!!
