From the F1 website: please log in to view this image I had no idea Mercedes had gone for the forward blowing exhausts. Brawn has been talking about it but I didn't realise it had actually been implemented on their car. I think more teams will follow suit now that it looks as if the concept is working for both Renault and Mercedes.
I was impressed with Merc's improvement and I hope they weren't fishing for sponsors. A new exhaust system is a big thing, it effects cooling, Aero, Engine performance, weight (sorta) among other things. To do it so late on must mean they are happy it won't effect the reliability of the cars, they seemed ok in the last testing. I'm really hoping the midfield and front runners are close together.
