Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has praised midfielder David Meyler in the wake of interest from Championship clubs. Former Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is keep to take the 23-year-old to Hull but O'Neill has suggested he would like to keep hold of the Irishman.

Now this has been posted by a few things on twitter and has also been on a few news websites

Personally I hope he does stay as I think he has potential, however does this signal that the move for N'zonzi is off OR does it mean that vaughan is off?

Meyler for me needs to go out on loan if we do keep him next season as his injury has taken a hell of a lot out of him, he is nowhere near the same player he was looking like before he got crocked.
