    I think Bruce said in Saturday's interview that the loan was up until the 5th January.

    As was said, it's been a weird loan and if he's travelling to Blackpool, how do we know some sort of deal hasn't already been done?

    Yes but after 28 days of the agreed loan MON has a 24 hour call back clause...

    Get Blackpool out of the way and its FA Cup 3rd Round on Sat and no league game till Sheff Wed here on Sat 12th. Hopefully Sunland can gain some more points in the PL to allow him to stay at least till the end of the season..

    Great news he is in for the Blackpool game, he certainly seems to be an important part of the jigsaw when getting the balance of the team right. Lets hope we can get him in on a permanent deal, or at least on loan until the end of the season

    I think MON clearly has a deal set up for somebody to come in at Sunderland, allowing us to keep Meyler. If that deal falls through though, he will be recalled.

    Not really. MON has just not had any further injuries for the need to recall Meyler. With news of Tim CAHILLs pending loan move to Sunderland and the return soon of Lee Cattermole we might just see David Meyler remain a Hull City player. Though i doubt we shall see him again until the Wendies game on the 12th.!!!!
