That silly stamp on Janusaj may well be reviewed by the FA and if so his Cup Final place is at risk big time.. :steam:

Looks that way. His only saving grace is that there is no Match Of The Day tonight, so no moral crusade by the pundits unlike the Boyd spitting incident.

I saw the Vine that someone just put up, I think you're right. However it's Man Utd so it'll be a slating. Luckily though Januzaj isn't holding out to play for England so that's one less thing against Meyler.

Did he get booked for it? If so they can't take further action can they? If not then he might be in the brown stuff :steam:

He was looking at the ball & his momentum carried him through on the lads ankle/foot. Ref saw it that way at least...didn't look too intentional to me...unless he's a right idiot.

I think it was one of those where, when his foot went on to his leg, he could (and should) have taken the weight off... but chose not to.
    I think he'll get a ban.

Just watched it on sky. I think he'll be fine. Not conclusive.

He clearly goes for the ball but Janazai knicks it away and Meyler catches his leg. Unfortunately because it's Man United he'll probably get a ban for that but he shouldn't be giving the powers that be the option to ban him - pretty stupid really.

Having said that Janazai deserves everything he gets

I think the same but I'm fairly hopeful he won't get a ban

Some seriously delusional stuff here. It was a bad challenge; he kept his foot pressed firmly down onto his leg and it's ****ing obvious that he knew what he was doing. If it had been the other way round we would've been up in arms. Makes some of you lot look ****ing daft.

If he gets a ban I'll be unhappy for the lad but it'll be deserved I'm afraid.

Completely agree TC...mountain being made out of a molehill on this one. Nothing deliberate in the contact and the ref certainly didnt see a problem. The idiot commentator Trevor Francis (?) was screaming foul but his whole match commentary was about how great Man U. were.

Did the ref see it? If so I don't think he can have a case to answer, if not then he's ****ed. Carries through, keeps his weight on the ankle, then doesn't apologise. Walks like a duck, sounds like a duck.

Fellaini's stamp on quinn was worse and he got a yellow and nobody is talking about it. If meyler gets banned it is ridiculous.

"Adnan needs protecting. He is a brilliant player – exciting – and the authorities need to sort it out.”

    For ****s sake!

I admired your professionalism Giggs, but now I just think you're a cheating little ****. You can die when you want, prick.
