1.5m apparently. Personally I'd have kept him and giving him a chance especially now Catts is out.

P.s:- Happy new year folks!! xxx

as someone else has said on a thread re: the lad, he's an excellent championship player, but only bottom 6 premier league. if we do accept, i wish him all the best as i love his attitude. but we need better quality in the middle to push on.....

Happy new year to one and all......

I like Him and I would keep him. Fact is MON doesn't play him so what's the point in him being here. May as well take the money, clear the wages and move on....

The fact we are willing ot sell him suggests that we will be seeing a new CM coming in sooner or later.

    I meant Meyler.
Marty has already said our squad is wafer thin and no one is leaving so if a bid has been accepted that would suggest a replacement must be close to signing.
Meyler offers us a good physical and presence in midfield and he's over 6foot. We have a very small midfield so that's a bonus when we play the likes of Stoke and West ham.
I remember him playing brilliant against Yaya Toure when we beat City 3 years ago.
We haven't seen enough of him to decide if he's capable of playing in the Prem or not!!

Good point here, however, I'm inclined to agree that he 'probably' isn't top half of the premiership material and Marty knows how to judge this somewhat better than any of us, well definitely me and all the other armchair football managers on here <ok>

    Meyler and Vaughan out.

Lets get Diame, Milner and Cahill in

That is the sort of ambition we should be showing.

The frustrating thing is we should have been getting Diame in August when he was free!

We tried for Diame but he turned us down for the bright lights of London.

I would keep Meyler, he's getting better every game. Just to sell him so cheaply now makes no sense.

You'd think we would be bringing in at least three players when you see how many we seem to be off loading. We are paper thin as it is.

Why is Diame leaving West Ham?

Take the money, if he was going to make it he would have made it by now- plus he has a dodgy knee, wish him well.

Apparently Diame hasn't settled and he's got a release clause of about 4m.

    At last some sense.

Lads like Meyler, Mohammedy, Vaughan Ji, Saha, Campbell etc are canny lads but just not good enough on the pitch, which is why we are 4 points off 3rd bottom.

We need far better quality and this will take time. Average can be achieved very quickly in life. To achieve top class takes much longer.

The lad seems to have loads of potential and for a while I thought he would turn out to be the best centre midfielder at the club.

2 serious injuries later and considering MON obviously doesn't fancy him its probably the best for him that he moves on.

Could turn out to be an excellent piece of business by hull.

£4m is a bargain!!! Get him signed - if he has struggled to settle in the East End, how much difference is moving to QPR going to make?? Come to the lovely, friendly north east Mo. You know you want to

You might be spot on with your last sentence mate. Every week Meylor has been at Hull City he has just got a little better. SB has assembled a very good team at Tigerland and I think we will win Promotion. Just hope it is without that Campbell though. Please give him to someone else, not Hull City, Cheers.
