So a big 0-0 at the Azteca stadium. A bit of a boring game from what I managed to see. However, McAnuff, Mariappa, T. Robinson and our own Nos played, I was happy to see them hold out for a draw. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/match/report/265057/Mexico-vs-Jamaica/ http://www.goal.com/en-us/match/97515/mexico-vs-jamaica/report Good to see some ex hornets doing reasonably well at International level.
Did Nos play the whole game? I guess that makes him unlikely to play today. Was this a competitive match rather than a friendly? Mexico are a pretty decent side, so I think its good for us to have players uping their game at international level and bringing that experience back to Vicarage Road.
Nos played the 90 and did well under a lot of pressure. Jamaica really only attacked on the counter. I wasn't sure how well he'd fit into our new style of play, but some suggest he is passing it well. For Jamaica he was playing more moon ball but that might have been due to the pressure Jamaica were under. They could have even snatched it. As for qualification well here is there group, http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/nccamerica/standings/index.html , after making it through to the last round of qualifying for the North, Central America and Caribbean groups. The Oceania winners should be the All Whites. I hope we don't have to play Jamaica. I don't want Watford players to lose.
No. They are out. We do have tricky games against New Caledonia and Solomon Islands next month, though, and Ryan Nelson has retired.
