Seems PSG are lining up a move for Berbatov .. pushing the elusive NUFC target Mevlut Erdinc further down the pecking order at the big spending club ..

Not to put to much of a downer to the start of the day I also read that Chelsea are potentially going to offer the Spuds £30Million + Sturridge to get their hands on Modric (only speculation of course, and admittedly from caughtoffside)..

Old saggy jowls couldn't possibly turn that down could he? Perhaps make Defoe think again about his options ..

Of course if Chelsea are considering offering Sturridge as part of any deal that could mean they're open to a sale .. come on NUFC board .. make a positive move before the season starts
