I can't believe that there has been no response to this article. It sums up Saturdays encounter perfectly. We need to play on the deck.,binners will almost certainly play long, we just have to control possession. Easy? Probably not, but we should have the personnel to accomplish our dream

I honestly believe if we get off to a positive (almost bullish) start and zip the ball about like we can then Ipswich will be in for very long afternoon. Setting a high tempo and getting players like Wes and Redmond on the ball high up the pitch and we will create chances.

That said there's no doubt MM and his players will be trying everything to make sure the game is as one paced, one dimensional as possible!

Well you certainly did your fair shair of long ball first leg. Hope Hoolahan is on the bench again.

You're not wrong - that was exactly the problem. You managed to force us to play your game, which we're not good enough at. We need to play our own style this time.

AN was always going to play a bit more direct in the first leg and try and match-up with Ipswich in order to keep it tight. Not the first manager to deploy these kind of tactics against more agricultural opponents away from home.

Now we've got home advantage I fully expect Hoolahan to start and therefore play a less direct style of play. And IF we can get our passing game going, I don't think you will get anywhere near us.
