So the weekend's game saw me attending a splendid football ground - although most of us probably accept that the surrounding area is not reknowned for it's wealth - but no matter - I came to see a good young footballer that many Gills fans can appreciate. As a fanatical Gills fan, to see this player was a dream come true - and as you surely realise he did not disappoint.
OK I'll come clean - I'm not talking about McDonald - but another whose surname starts with M - that has to be Messi. For the first time in about 20 years I missed a Gills home game to go with my two sons to the Camp Nou. 84,997 others were there to witness a true football Messiah - and after watching him bang in 4 goals it was more like Messiahhhhhhhh.
At least 3 Gills fans saw a great performance at the weekend.
I of course unreservedly apologise to all true Gills fans that I was unfaithful - it won't happen again ( well, maybe not any time too soon )

Excellent mate, only ever been there and around the inside of the stadium once and down to pitch side and that was as a mere tourist!
