Heard on talk sport tonight that there are stories in the paper tomorrow about us trying to get MoN back. never too keen on people returning to former clubs but this would be a dream come true compared to the tacticless halfwit we have in charge at the moment

We should have turned barnsly over but this is what i love about the CCC. never know who is going to win on the day! We have played some poor football but at least it is not last season, when we were rooted to the bottom of the table.. Season is still young. Do you really think that brighton and southampton are going to ride the top of the table and get automatic??? Think not!
With regard to MoN, it would be fookin amazing but i agree with nellie.... If he was to return, the pressure would be even more so then what it is on SGE. Lets see where we are at come xmas

Calm down. I fully expect us to beat Brighton and then we will go on a run. Just takes time to gel

    Get behind Sven

    MON isnt coming back

MoN might come back, he was 2nd choice to Sven last season.

But I don't think he should. A 1-1 draw away from home isn't a bad result. We usually beat Barnsley but they are bound to get something from us sooner or later. If we beat Brighton then things will start to look a lot different.

    Don't panic!!!

That's it, N has spoken, we won't win against Brighton!

What's the N for, is it nobody as in what you are or nothing as in what Hull have achieved?

    You stupid boy

We dont need a new manager, we need a right midfielder with pace! Any right midfielder with pace. Bring him in. No, not a right-footed fast striker. Not a '4-3-3' right sided player. A 4-4-2 right midfielder with pace to burn. i dont care how bad they are. Dany N'Guessan even would do a job. I dont care whether its on loan from a league 2 side or a 16 year old from fulham, just bring him in!!

Seriously, it would be madness to back Sven with £10-15million and then sack him before he has a chance to get them playing as a unit. As much as I love MON, I can't see this happening.

Stupid post by a WUM. Svens team just need time to gel, if we are still struggling against teams like Barnsly in the New Year then it may be time to panic but after 6 games its stupid to be even thinking of sacking Sven!

MON is a City Legend but I dont want him back, just think; what would we all do if MON did come back and we failed horribly???? You would all be saying he hasn't go a clue and wanting him sacked (Just like most people did when MON first came to the club)!!!!!!

    IN SVEN WE TRUST

I saw the article yesterday...no quotes or any evidence to back up their claim. In other words, it's made up. The Sunday Mirror are finishing off what the NOTW started....

I doubt MON would come back anyway, I think he's holding out for a big job, possibly for Fergie to retire.

    Agree, although not that big.

    Top half premier league.

Maybe Spurs when Harry goes for the England job?

I've heard it mentioned that Moyes will get the Spuds job when 'Arry gets the England job. I still think MON is holding out for a top job, hence why he rejected WHU last year.

Seems a lot more likely. The rumours was yesterday that the FA want to get Redknapp in the replace Capello before the euro

There's no way the FA will appoint Redknapp while he is under investigation for receiving illegal payments, particularly as there's a relatively high likelihood that he's going to be found guilty.

I thought there was a good chance he'd be cleared?

I hope he doesn't get found guilty because if the FA are going to appoint an English manager, then Redknapp is by far and away the best option. Perhaps you could say Hodgson but I think his style of football is too defensive for England.

Here's a thought; if Redknapp does get found guilty, I doubt the FA would appoint him, so why not MON as England manager. I know he's not English but I think British is good enough for the FA and I think he'd be a top England manager.

Cross 77, I'm not a WUM. I've been a city fan for 20 years now. First game was the tony james winner against oxford that kept us out the old div 3. Whats so stupid about writing a post about something that is about to be reported in a sunday paper. This is a forum after all!

No they won't - for the same reason they did not employ Clough, if he don't like something he will say and will walk if not done in his way.
