http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...his-father-accused-of-tax-fraud-in-Spain.html Do they not think they earn enough legitimately anyway!
Whats the odds if he's convicted of a slight rap on the knuckles and a lecture? One law for the rich and famous and another for the rest, I'm sick of hearing about stories like this because justice is never done.
I wouldn't want him locked up. Would rather see taxpayers money go towards incarcerating a murderer, rapist or *****phile
don't need to lock him up as a punishment...could just make him play for tony pullis team ... that'll teach the ****er and act as a real deterrent
Not locking him up sets an example to other would-be tax avoiders, people who's taxes could be used for the further incarceration of the same murderers, rapists and *****philes. Besides, its not a question of who deserves to be put behind bars, but a question of who can't afford to pay to stay out from them. I guarrentee that if I was to go to Spain, set up a business, and start dodging taxes, I'd get put behind bars. Because of the high popularity and wealth of people like Messi, they rarely see the back of prison cells in cases such as these.
If he needs to get out of Spain until it all blows over, we could always loan him for the season...and if the tabloids pick this up, you all owe me a drink
Its this sort of thing that makes it a no brainer to take £85m for Bale if offered. Something uninsurable happens to him and then we've got no Bale and no £85m!
I'm surprised to see this term DL. Taxpayers pay their dues as part of the deal of living in the country. Once the tax has been handed over its not their money any more - it properly belongs to all of us whether we pay taxes or not!
