How has been getting on? I remember Jol spoke a lot about him over the summer- is he anywhere close to the first team?
He got a bad injury a while back, although I think he did play recently. He's not in the Dallas Cup squad... Sadly I can't be of any real help.
He's played in the last couple of U21 games but not a full match yet. I saw him when he came on as a sub in the match against Chelsea and, while he didn't do an awful lot, you could tell he had that little bit of quality. He was comfortable on the ball, prepared to take people on and still seemed to have a fair bit of pace despite the knee injuries. I guess playing a number of consecutive full matches till the end of the season will be the test. He's 20 in May (and doesn't qualify for the Dalla squad) so it's a critical time for him. Hopefully this time he makes it because he really could be good.
