Yet another loss for us, what a surprise. He predicted us to do well this season but puts us down for a loss 80% of the time.
They're only predictions, his opinions, it has no relevance to anything other than him fulfilling the contractual obligations of his job. I tend to not take it personally. I did write to him once when he battered into Phil Brown for the half time team talk on the pitch. If I remember rightly he said something along the lines of no player anywhere would ever want to play for him again. I explained that he was a young inexperienced manager who would make mistakes along the way, learn from them & develop as a result. I suggested he pour himself a drink, snort a line of charlie whilst pondering over what he thought he'd be doing now if he hadn't been given another chance after his misdemeanours. I also suggested he had a bet on City staying up, I don't know if he did, but we did. He didn't reply.
Hardly surprising, we've only picked up 5 points away from home all season, and they're only 3 points behind us in the league. We might well go there and get something, but him predicting us to lose is hardly ground breaking.
Why is anyone surprised by it ? Merson would say the Blind Institute would beat us. He is clueless amongst many other things.
****ing hell you lot get wound up so, so easily. Norwich are at home, you have to expect a home win in these relegation scraps.
I don't in the grand scheme of thing care about pundits predictions, but Lawro has lost it a bit methinks. From the prediction page on BBC Sport: "It might be a good time to play Hull, who have just signed Nikica Jelavic from Everton and have agreed a fee with West Brom for Shane Long." That makes sense... best time to play us is when we've just signed two strikers who vastly improve our attack...
