    So it seems that Lambert has left Narwich now <yikes>

    At some point Chris must be mentioned as a possible replacement somewhere but what would it take for him to go? A London Premiership Club? Any Premiership Club? Leicester with new transfer budget? His first club (a Croydon Club)? Brighton?

    Thoughts please.

    <cheers>

    The fact that this is his fourth stint at the Valley will have crossed his mind many a time but I think his mindset is to get us up and into the prem. If he doesn't achieve that at the end of the next two years he will feel it is a project that has failed and may move on, but until that time he will be focused on achieving what he set out to do. H e knows that if he achieves it, he has the badge of being a great manager, if he goes before it is complete he will be a good manager that could be discarded very easily in a premier club if things don't go his way ve quickly. The great managers are those that have shown they can achieve over time and are therefore given time, not those who follow short term fame and glory.

    It all depends on the success the club has. He wants to bring stability to the club, so unless he has a horrible season (or two), then I can't see it.

    But one thing I'm sure of, if he were to leave the club for better things, he would do it in a much more dignified manner than Rodgers and especially Lambert.

    Didn't Chris sign on a 2.5 year contract back in January 2011, in which case, isn't he in his last year now?

    About time we talked to Chris about a new contract isn't it?

    Didn't Michael Slater say something about tying him to a chair?

    What those two do when off duty is none of our business. We all have our funny little ways.

    Yep, if he was tied to a chair someone else would have to do the tunnel jumps.
