It's a wet Christmas here BC, not white.

Not sure the hullabaloo is actually to do with more rain, you may have noticed we have a reputation for a wet climate over here. More to do with the need to fill 24 hour rolling news and a desire to blame a civil servant if a doormat gets damp I think.

That's a bit unkind notdistant Devon is drowning at the minute and there are floods everywhere. Not a happy Christmas for some poor folk. As I type this it is still Peeing down and has been all day.

I hope that everyone on here has a really good Christmas and a happy New Year. Joe I hope all is well with your little one and you especially have one to remember. Roll on Boxing Day which will be good this year given it's a home match.

    Merry Xmas all.

Sensible, yes at the moment he is home and ok.. Should be a bit hectic with all the family popping in.. I hope you and your family have a nice time,

Yes the wet weather is here for xmas it seems and its a bit miserable for the ones that have been flooded, its bad any time of year but this time of year its not nice.
    Civil servants?

Any way hope the game is on for Boxing day.

Merry Xmas to you all. Keep sober!

Yes I know that Sensible and I sympathise with those affected. But twas ever thus down here, second wettest area in the UK after Wales is it not? Is it really raining more? I don't think so, although I suppose the wet end to the summer was a bit unusual.

So either it's increased urbanisation affecting drainage or it's the media making more of a fuss.

Anyway, make best use of your hosepipe now before it's banned in April.

hp.......I had more than sandy feet out in Aden during my National Service.

I first thought one of my buddies was fooling around tickling my toes...when I looked up they were all in the sea.....a quick look at my foot told me it was a scorpion cuddling up a bit to adjacent for my liking........I tell you Usain Bolt would have been proud of my starting technique from soft sand that day.

From what I've heard about national service types, to have more than itchy feet was the norm....... I spent a year in Bahrain as a 17 year old back in the 60's when the Arabs were trying to kick 10 bells out of Israel. All those lovely ladies which you couldn't or wouldn't dare go near.

Glad to hear the lad is home joe. Hope he enjoys his roast parrot for Crimbo lunch.

The match on Boxing Day is bound to be on. That pitch drains faster than an alcoholic's glass on a stag night.

I'm shocked Mrs lalala. Hannibal Parrot is what I shall call him in future. Beau sounds too gentle a name after that revelation. You had better not let Fletcher anywhere near your house if your parrot likes Turkeys.

I don't know........and you lot said that I had a fixation about little Beau.........on second thoughts Christmas is the right time for little Beau to be legless......just as in his picture above me now as I type this.

Beau I wish you a merry Christmas and your owner as well.......and I wish us all a far happier new year than we've had in recent years......following Argyle........is it true that webbed feet are top of everyones Christmas list down your way.....although we aren't far behind up here.
