i think it was evident from the first 5 mins that he was more concerned with getting one over on suarez than playing for sunderland today, it didnt take mystic meg to see he was going to get sent off, for me his head wasnt right and ferdinand should have been CB today
Bollocks mate, utter bollocks, Mensah played Carroll off the park, the 2 bookings were unfortunate and none malicious.
gotta agree with you now im over the initial disappointment but he did seem on a mission with suarez at times and the little eel slipped through quite abit but he and titus dealt with carroll well
He was ****ing ****e for the penalty, like a dog chasing a balloon. Whether it was outside of the box or whatnot, it was his ****up that took us there.
Yes I agree, he made a mistake but does that mean he shouldn't have played? the Mig made a mistake for the second but no one is crying for his head.
Big John didn't have his best game today but he did a lot of good things throughout. Ok his mistake led to the goal but we are only criticising because of the high standard we expect from him week in week out
As for the Suarez thing, from my seat, none of the Ghanaians were looking for revenge, however Suarez was more then happy to go down everytime any of them were near him. Realistically Suarez could've been sent off as he should easily picked up a yellow for diving - which the ref warned him on, then booked him for a bad tackle. That said, when he actually concentrated on playing football, cracking player.
Mensah was very unlucky today the foul was definitely out side the box. It should have been a free kick and not a yellow card. The penalty gave Liverpool the boost they needed.
think the game was to much for all the ghana lads, gyan going of on one like, that was lucky he didn't get more. only bright part of the day was a few glimpese off sess, and the single shot by catts
