Membership Status

I see with this new 606 site there has been a slight change with the way the membership status works, could someone please tell me how it works and how you earn "Trophy Points", etc as despite having been a member since 2011 on the previous Not606 Site I am only considered as just a member where as on the old site I was a member of well known repute. Why have I been demoted to just a member? Is everyone starting afresh on this new site?

 

This site is a completely different server to the old site, so we all start from scratch!

 

Nope - I am (as is Dave and almost certainly a few others) a well-known member. Just why that is, I am not sure. Maybe it is something to do with the number of friends we had on the other site, or the number of likes from 'different' people over the months.

Perhaps Dave can enlighten us?

 

I don't know for sure, but the only "well known members" I have seen have been current or former mods!

I've just noticed JWM is a well known member and DHCanary is a "new member" even though he is a mod on two boards!

 

That kinda messes up an otherwise good theory

 

Very odd, perhaps it's to do with posts on the new site? I've not been on much recently.

 

A quick look on the moderator board suggests Mick will try to address "Member statuses" tonight. Doing it will slow the site down a lot so it'll be late at night.

If the site isn't up tomorrow morning, then Jedi's to blame for moaning...

 

Where is the mod board, I can't see it?

Looks like Mick's change has gone through, I'm now a well-known member.

 

Mine says SUPERNORWICH because they are.
