Cawley has announced the new Head of Comms has now resigned. He did'nt give reasons, but that ridiculous statement on tuesday night was almost certainly the detonator. Personally, I think she's done the right thing, as staying at the Valley would only tarnish her CV, and I wish her well in the future.
Just a quick comparison. Mel Baroni was in charge of one disaster under her spell with us, and by all accounts the comms team tried hard to stop Roland putting his lack of intelligence in writing. As a result of his insistence, she has resigned. KM has lied, insulted the fans, laughed at protesters and been part of the team that has us teetering on the brink of relegation. Twoyears of rubbish decisions and she is still hanging about. No comment needed really.

No place at Roland's Charlton for someone with integrity. Best wishes to her in future

This reiterates the sad desperate persistence of Richard Murray, like a cockroach in a nuclear war clinging to his glory days.

If Murray abandoned ship it would rescue his credibility, and might just hole HMS Roland below the waterline.

Strong rumours this morning on social media that Stephen Henderson has told people that he has been dropped at Meire's instruction for criticising the Scum on social media.

So much for a "dead leg" and "damaged finger".

More lies from the habitual liars.

When will the club put an official announcement about Mel Baroni, thanking her for her work and wishing her well. Seems like they were in a big rush tuesday night to slate the protests, but there's no rush to own up to the consequences. So much for better dialogue.

They probably didn't like the previous statement which said the club was saddened by "The situation which led to the protests". Too ambiguous. Roland's statement corrects that, by putting the blame back on us, the fans.

Baroni took the only course of action open to any serious, self respecting professional after Meire and Douche ignored her advice.
I am now finding the whole Mel B thing a CL- hyped, navel gazing, Wally- driven side show. If true, the fact that Riga has been told not to play Henderson is far more important IMO.

Just shows that the team interference continues - 4 games out with a dead leg.....

Crikey that's juss shockin about Hendo. Just when you think they hit the nadir of how deplorable they are.... This is the guy who in one 5 min interview (after Huddersfield when he was disgracefully hung out to dry and left to face the media by the inept coward freye), showed more class and professionalism than the whole disgraceful lot of them could ever dream of.

If Riga did as he was told by the CEO he loses his credibility too. He could have done what SCP did and said NO! I pick the team.
However, it is an unsubstantiated rumour!

I still think he's been told to play Makineok at times; there's no other reason for his inclusion.

Henderson has told people he is fit to play, and was dropped for that reason.

Dead leg...injured finger....what excuse tomorrow [or maybe it was a 3 game Meire ban]

roland usurps the head of comms by releasing "that" statement. doesnt do roland any good when people like SCP say that he interfered with team selection....

Taken from the O/S just now

"CEO Katrien Meire is pleased to announce that the highly respected Sue Parkes has been appointed as the new Interim Head of Comms at #cafc. Commenting on this exciting appointment, Katrien broke off from gumming Roland to say-

"Sue is the ideal candidate for this role. Not only is she highly deluded, she has vast experience of telling lies on my behalf"

Assuming this is true, its confirmed Henderson as my Player of the Season, further embarrassment to Roland & full support for team players

Hendo has dismissed this himself. Also, to be fair Pope has earned another shot since he's stepped back in.

Heading up to sheff now and my friends said its apparently near to a sell out for them. No idea why.
