Probably not known by most of you but the patrons of Argyle Talk Democratic are having a meeting face to face with the above mentioned Mr Brent tonight in the Cherry Tree pub. This was arranged by one of the posters on there as they were somewhat excluded from the Question and Answer session held on PASOTI previously.

The only people allowed at this meeting are ATD members who signed on prior to the announcement of the meeting so it will not include anyone from PASOTI who signed up just to be able to go along. The questions will not be sanitised by anyone and the promise has been given that anyone who could not attend but had a question, it would be read out to Mr Brent without alteration and as written by the question author.

Whilst a decent enough Q and A on PASOTI previously, I suspect the questions this time will be a little more to the point and as it is in person, will be followed up if not answered fully and properly. Whilst it hasn't been said yet, I assume a set of minutes of the questions and answers will be posted on ATD for all to see. The purpose of this thread is to alert you to this and it might be something you would want to log on and read. After all of this it will probably turn out to be a complete damp squib and nothing of interest whatsoever.

Just as a follow up to above. Apparently the Q and A session went well and most were impressed with Brent's openess and willingness to answer the questions put. The organiser taped the proceedings and will be typing them up and hopefully posting the full monty sometime over the weekend on ATD. Some who were there have put a few points up already but at the moment it is a bit of a mishmash that way. I'm going to wait for the full report and read that where it will all make more sense.

Reading the comments so far on ATD.....there seems to be a positive reaction to James Brent and his teams answers to the meeting they had on Wednesday evening.

They seem to have taken to Brent and feel that he is the genuine article and PAFC is safe in his hands.

PASOTI on the otherhand view it all with a sour grapes response......obviously miffed that Brent decided to talk to ATD at all.........they do have problems, and comments such as "we have talked about these things already, why again".

For anyone who is interested the final minutes of the above meeting are on ATD tonight. I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed by it as I sort of expected it to be tougher than it is but it has interest nonetheless.
