When you guys are at the match, do you get chatting to other fans and ask whether they are members of not606? Or do you look at other fans and think 'He looks a bit Franco-ish' or 'Could that pranny be A2C'? I know I do. But I really ask because I held conversations with many Addicks at the last two matches and failed to ask whether they are on this forum. I wish I had. Last night I sat in seat N127. Near to a bunch of suited dudes. Were any of you guys over that side? Just a thought, that's all.
did you see Matt Holland last night? According to his Twitter account Robbie Elliott got him a ticket in the charlton end and he was sitting near the drummer.
If they were suited and booted, it sounds like one of them could have been me. That's my usual attire at CAFC games of course. Would'nt dream of talking to any fellow fans, one must have standards don't you know..
I was on the opposite side to the drummer. Didn't see Matty Holland, unfortunately. There were twins wearing identical suits. They had probably lost lots of money on the stock exchange during the day, but were evidently cheered by the result. Very vocal, those city twonks. I say 'twonks' with the very best of humour.
say hello to the drummer for me remind him when after my evidence to cops at qpr one away match he got let off as cops where going nick him
The old bill let someone off on the evidence of one Acworth ? I will have to have a serious word with the Police.
For the last few seasons i'm sure i've seen A2C in the lower north. don't ask me why, just something about him makes me think its him, sits near the "charlton totty" (please note that is not my opinion of her but what she has on her shirt, she is anything but and is more then likely one of the fans that gets there shirts in 5XL!!!) ...anyway in answer to your question i haven't met any of the fine folks from this fourm
I spotted AHLL at the Bournemouth game and will probably say hi on Saturday I was about 2 seats in front of the drummers last night when they were in the middle of the stand before the moved to the right side of the stand
Re: Hayseys Comment. Dear god no... I'm sure that heffer sits a row or two in front of me... I hope it's not me you're tarnishing with the A2C brush!
Ha i'm sure your safe, the guy i suspect is to the left of her...well he was last season, not seen him yet this season, partly because i've been more interested with whats happening on the pitch so far
I'm at The Standard and then Crossbars (As much as I hate it) before hand. Never seen a not606er(new word), but seen that AH parades his name around on his shirt.
I must keep an eye out for AlllHell. Before the match I always sit near the Ladbrokes kiosk on the grassy bank (now a muddy bank) next to the West Stand. I am usually eating chips, reading the programme and telling the nippers to stop sliding down the bank on their arses. Same old, same old - but I love it.
Ponders, I can only assume you're imagining a devilishly handsome hunk... . I used to go to the vast majority of home games and a handful of away fixtures each season. However, a change of career resulting in shift work (two weekends off in five) and the arrival of the grousome twosome (my lovely but crazy boys) has unfortunately curtailed my presence at The Valley somewhat. Having said that, i manage to get to around half the home games each season. When I do go i always sit with my uncle in the very back row of the west upper, in block M (right by a pillar). I will be at The Exeter game with my uncle, 3 year old son and 7 year old nephew, who happens to also be the nephew of our very own Paul Hayes. I'm doing my bit to try and secure a couple of future lifelong supporters . Like many of you boys, whenever i go I'm always looking at those sat around me and trying to work out if there's any other Not606ers about. Now i know AllHell has his name on the back of his shirt I'll be keeping an eye out for him.
Franco - You are right. I do look at the devilishly handsome hunks and wonder if they are A2C. Two weekends off in five is not a career - its a regime. I feel for you, buddy. So you know Paul Hayes quite well, I presume?
Dead right Ponders, even Gaddafi wouldn't run a regime as harsh as that... Franco, I reckon you sit about three rows behind me. I'm down for the Exeter game as it's my birthday the following day - I'll look out for you.
Too true, Tewks. I hear even the Colonel takes time off from his brutal dictatorship to watch Tripoli Wanderers play. Isn't it funny how they win 10-0 every match?
