I know some people will agree/disagree strongly with this, but the media really don't seem to care/be interested with Hull City. Quote from the BBC website: 'Hull manager Steve Bruce has just held his final pre-match news conference ahead of their season finale.' Erm don't they know we have an FA Cup final next week? The amount of facts they get wrong that a simple google search would confirm, it may happen to other clubs maybe we just don't notice as we aren't as clued up on them. Am I just being pedantic or do others think this happens too often? (On a plus point it says McGregor is in contention and McShane may also play with Davies Long and Jela set for a rest)
To be honest I'm sure it's the same for all the 'smaller clubs', its just that we dont notice it. Let's not forget, in terms of profile we are probably THE smallest team in the top flight this season, at least Cardiff is a capital city. Next year I can guarantee Burnley will get the same. And how can they be 'having a rest'? After this week they've got 6 weeks off!!!
Apart from our cup run, our season has been pretty unremarkable to the neutral. We've just plodded along in 12th-15th all season. We've never really had a bad or good run at any point and never looked like being relegated or breaking into the top half.
