I saw a FLASH through the gap in my curtains and wondered if those chavs were shining a laser pen into my flat again.

Thunder I heard, daughter said there was a massive flash too. Weird.

 

Definitely thunder and lightning just been out and about, not ashamed to say it scared the **** out of me 3 times, just wasn't expecting it at all lol

Huge thunder clap and flash of lightning over Stoneferry too. Not unusual to see/hear in the Alps, never seen it here before.

 

It just flashed, followed by a heavy rumbling here in Beverley - weird.
