what is it with your last 4 managers?? coppell won 0% games. millen this season won just 1 game against a crap lesta side. wigley won 0% games. mcinnes won 0% of games so far. todays game saw mcinnes debut as manager at home. you would expect the players would be up for this game to show a good impression in front of the new boss. instead he sees just 1 shot on target (in the 92nd minute) and possession wise be dominated by a birmingham side who only played on thursday night away in europe! only 13500 attended the game and there were a big away following as well. not many fans turning out to witness mcinnes debut as manager! bet mcinnes is thinking.... please log in to view this image *this 'banter' is not aimed at most of your fans. just the odd few who popped on to our board yesterday after our defeat. swings and around abouts meaning your turn on tuesday
Paul Trollope seems to be doing a good job with CH at Birmingham....did he get a 'reception' this afternoon?
trolls only 3 games vs bristol city drew 0-0 won 1-0 won 2-0 3 clean sheets from 3 games bcfc red, i heard a tweet or text on bbc radio bristol at half time from 'bedminster red' (i think) who called mcinnes a <unt! i was shocked it got read out!
to be fair birmingham are a different class.. the games we should be winning are the millwall, barnsleys and watfords of the championship.. If we can't beat those..
Can someone tell me who played Burke onside because I could not see it from the dolman? This was never going to be a game to judge McInnes on, but with him shouting from the touch line was good to see, I think we will turn this corner and be safe. What a difference it would of been if Stead would of at least hit the target in he first half, plus Marvins shot we just need some luck at it will come soon!
shiny, believe it or not but this thread is to do with mcinnes debut hense he only has just started as for me worrying about the gas, me worrying until tuesday wont affect buckle or our players in any way so why bother worrying. buckle made it clear few weeks ago that we have to lower our expectation. therefore we wont go up. but we wont go down either. city however... im still disgusted that 1 of your fans called mcinnes at half time a 'c u next tuesday!' and that the radio read it out!
bet he is wishing there was a clause in his contact that he can walk away within 7 days..... like coppell
So we're playing a team who were in the Premiership last year, are in Europe (and doing well) this year, and are the current League Cup holders.... Meanwhile you're throwing away 3 points at a place famous only for making tyres..... Reality check for North Bristol
I suppose CJS is just wumming the few that go onto the gas board for whatever reason, so I won't take it too much to heart CJS. But despite this, I would have still thought it strange you coming on here in attempt to wind up some city fans given who we lost to, a prem team who walked all over arsenal in a league cup final and beat a team in a european competition. When you lost to a team playing non league football 2 years ago.... As for attendance, I am sure even the biggest WUM (not neccassarily you) will appreciate it was a Sunday game, not the regular Saturday fixture. In which even myself was unable to attend when I'm a season ticket holder. Feckin wives and birthdays grrrrrrrr!
A cjs wum is of little consequence, nobody really pays any attention to him or his ilk,he just brings a bit of humour to the table,he's like an itch,a bit irratable but you've got to give it a scatch and it's gone and you wait for the next one, thought McInnes learnt a lot yesterday and in parts the team didn't look that far off but we are still bottom,oh dear there goes that itch again or is it cjs...?
Watching mciness on the touchline was more fun watching the game.. ranting and raving shouting at refs shouting clapping his hands...

On the touchline McInnes is more in the O'Neill/Lambert window than Coppell/Millen - lack of leaders on the pitch means we need that I thought the pre-match warm up routine was very upbeat. His comments seem to indicate he's already seen what we know (lack of creativity etc). Very interesting comments about the long ball - I thought it was a tactic - obviously not!! I like what I see so far.
