Personally I always thought Phil Brown's team talk on the pitch was fair enough, although Brown had brought that woeful first half performance on himself slightly by playing Macca - I think for the first time - at left back and he got destroyed for at least one, if not two, of the Man City goals. Whereas he'd worked out pretty well as a makeshift right-back in other games. And then on Saturday he plays at left-back again and has a blinder and scores. Is that the first time he's played there since that Man City game? Always been a big fan of McShane. He was a key part of the first Premier League season winning run.
