He will be waiting a while now. Simpson and Henderson will probably be Kjs first choice pairing, with N'Guessan above him too.

He needs to take his chances when he can.

Think its not fair to put others above him right away, but maybe start with mcqoid and if not going well take him off. On his twitter he said he'd been getting "a lot of abuse from so called fans" and its pathetic to abuse him for a miss, every player misses a sitter at some point.
Only thing he needs to rectify is his comitment, on Saturday he didn't run after a lot, or put pressure on the keeper etc, and he also moaned a lot at the midfield/defence. As long as he just gets on with it putting in 110%, the goals will come. I think he's a more promising player than Morison personally - McQoid has great feet and pace, but Moro had the height that would help even if he wasn't scoring. Only a matter of time until McQoid finds the goal scoring touch!

He might find himself playing as a sub more as I would always start Henderson based on his games so far and I imagine Simpson is going to be started. Also less game time for N'Guessan, Marquis and Batt.

I think Jackett will start with Henderson and Simpson and see how it goes, hopefully it will go well enough to make the others fight harder for their places. then when called upon as either subs or through injuries will have to give 100% <ok>

also we all know what Henry is capable of but the last couple of games has drifted slightly. he cant afford to do that now as we have loads of different options available now. <ok>

competition for places will bring the best out of the players and if certain individuals don't like it then we will know they're not team players and can get rid <ok>

I remember Morison missed a few sitters then hit that late winner against MK Dons and never really looked back. I know we all get frustrated when players miss a sitter as we all know we/our nan/next door neighbours blind cat would have scored it etc but to abuse our own players is not on.

    McQuoid <doh>

I could have scored that <whistle><laugh>

McQuoid will come good, he is a great talent from videos I've seen of him at Bournemouth and also whilst he played against Palace on New years day

Agreed Jimmy only going to knock his confidence, McQuoid looks a better prospect than Marquis to me as he's got a better touch and is more skillful. But Marquis looks more of a poacher so I wont rule him out completely.

Whether Josh will get many more chances now Simpson and N'Guessan have arrived is debatable as I would have thought Hendo and Simpson would be the partnership KJ would aim for. N'Guessan put in some good crosses against Forest so maybe he will be used as a winger rather than just a striker?

Am i the only one that thinks Jay has arried to put pressure on Henrys place as he is more of a RW as Hackett doesnt appear to be good enough. NGuessen is left footed so hes there for pressure on Bouazza. I think we have 4 strikers Hendo McQuoid Marquis and O'brien. I think the other two "can" operate their if need be but mainl i think their wingers to deliver crosses to the big man

He was pencilled in for a return early this month before he picked up a groin strain, hopefully he'll be back towards end of month or early October <ok>

N'Guessen is left footed? Both the crosses he put in against forest were right footed, so if so then his left foot must be a belter!

Although it seems like we have a big squad we currently already have 5 players out injured. 16 players are needed for each game and with injuries and suspensions it is unlikely that a full squad will be available for each game. All the players will get a chance at some stage during the season and its up to them to play well enough that they can't be dropped.

    Evening Steve <ok>

For Trotters goal he crossed with his right foot, so he can use both which is always a good sign <ok>
