I see the kid that most of us dislike is out for 3 months with an ankle injury. Missing out on u21 tournament. I kno its not toon related but thought id put it out there for the haters.
I've kinda moved on from that incident now to be honest. There's a new season to look forward to and with Wigan gone, they're pretty much an irrelevance now.
Think its a just shame,I'm sure it was not malicious and just over eagerness on his part. I'm more annoyed with wheel an and Martinez for defending it. You don't want to see a young player, English one at that get injured when he's young and has a chance to play in a tournament.
Shame, people seem to forgot that thug has history. are people aware he broke some ones leg in a reserve game against man city in a even worse tackle. Thought he would learn his lesson at least he has a few months to think about it now. I don't wish anyone harm but sometimes karma comes around
For all the loathsome and tactless unprofessionalism of Martinez and Whelan it was Mcmanaman who carried out the tackle and he has the voice to apologise. He chose not to. Whilst not wishing an injury on him or thinking 'shame it's not as a result of a dangerous challenge'; hopefully the lad will consider what he has lost due to injury and use it as a chance to reflect on his actions re Haidera. Not necessarily the actual tackle; as said before, in the heat of battle etc, but afterwards. He may be a young man in the bright lights, but he doesn't need anyones permission to apologise, least of all his employers.
Ah, but is he really that injured or is this just a smokescreen 'cause he doesn't fancy U 21 games. Might be fancying a long holiday instead.
Tell that to the Villa fan I met in the cinema once whilst proudly wearing the black and white... First I was a "loser"... Then when I took off all my clothes and started chasing him, I was a "sexual deviant"... Make up your mind!
