Hi a Hull City fan here. How did you think Mclean got on when you were in the championship, I know he scored 7 or 8 goals wasn't it, but he had an injury yeah so didnt have a full season? Hes settling in with us, but the lad needs a goal, I think he'll probably bag one in the next couple of games, Leeds at home and Scunny away. Did you think he was up to it at this level when he was with you?
We had the worst Midfield and Defence in the Championship. Without any real service our top 3 players managed 27 League goals between them. With better service and better quality players around him I am sure Aaron will start banging them in soon, he is too good not to score at that level. You will never have less han 100% effort. Get Jimmy Bullard in the team to feed him! Yes I do think he is a Championship quality player, but that the Premiership would probably be a step too far.
Having seen him a few times it seemed that CMS did all the hard work and Mclean tapped it in at the end. Certainly seemed that way 2 years ago in League 1 (but I may just have seen the few games where that was the case)
Disagree with Cymru Toon, McLean does a lot of the dirty work too, got springs in his heals for little 'un he can leap, Hull have got a good player who'll always give 100% for the team, two goals last Saturday will give him the confidence I'm sure Hull fans will take to him for work rate alone
