need to play it on the deck to him, hes not made for the long ball game, not got a bad touch and a hard worker, need to link the defence to midfield better, think it will improve with mannone coming back.

Didn't think he was a £1M player before we signed him. Admittedly I've only seen him against Barnsley but I've not seen anything from him yet to change my mind about that. I think some of the criticism he's had has been harsh though, especially the doing nothing against QPR part of it, they've got the best defensive record in the league.

Unsure about him so far. Twice yesterday Fryatt went wide and pulled it back beautifully across the goal and no one was there at all, as the other striker McLean should have been there but was nowhere to be seen. Same goes for when McLean pulled it back for Fryatt in the second half.

We seem to have two strikers who can work hard and make some good touches but don't look like scoring goals, as we always do.

He works really hard, especially in closing down defenders and pressing them to turn which no defenders like. Great to see a forward doing this. He wins more than his fair share of headers for a little fella and is quite strong on the ball. His touch could be better and he is not served well by our supply to him but he seems to be developing some good link up play with Fryatt. Generally, he's a better option than Simpson and i've been impressed by the cut of his jib.

Criticism of him now is harsh. Seems like a forward who likes to play on the shoulder of the defenders - he's definately quick. I do have my doubts though, you only need to look at his scoring records and nearly all of his goals have come in League 2 and the Conference. Had one season in the Championship with Peterborough and scored 7 goals, which is pretty respectable. Needs time to settle
