In all seriousness though, I do agree slut is a bad word to use on social media. To my knowledge, slut is an american word, and using it is publishing and promoting Americanism. He must have a large quantity of youth following him, who will be easily influenced into incorporating these American terms into their vocabulary. He should be calling them slags.
if it is an Americanism it goes back a lot of years. I'm 58 and can remember that being used when a was a young 'un.

Context, context and context. He is actually saying the opposite of what you infer. The whole thread is about the way some women act around him. He even has a go at door staff who change their demeanour once they find out he's a footballer.
Well it appears Im some kind of raving tree hugging PC thought police officer then cos personally I consider it misogynistic, insulting, ill informed and degrading and I would love to know how the thousands of female City fans feel about it.
