Blue orange and black seem to be the colours in whatever form! Think we are getting a version of the real car- Ivan Roldan on Twitter has suggested we’ll be “gobsmacked” - he’s an engineer within the group and he’s normally very fair and honest with his comments without giving away any of the details behind it. If I remember correctly he might have said they’d be a bullet in a straight line last season (Monza!!).

From the fire suits looks like colours are orange, gray, and light blue, looks good. Wish they would stop with all the padding....

Well thats mildly interesting. The front wing is really quite different in approach to that shown by Aston.

The side pods however and underfloor look placeholders from the view of front.

The front wing has that front element pushed right out and the next 3 quite evenly sized compared to the Aston and its different shaped as well esp the lastbon.

There's two proper do-dads sticking up to make those vortices that lad on the Aston thread was wltalking about.

The under area seem deliberately defocused in renders and the side of floor is totally plain so certainly not final.

    Hmmmmmm

    Very good.

There's so many different approaches on each car.

The cooling on the Aston must be totally different to the Mclaren

The front wings are very different, that Aston as a concept as the video that was posted outlined which is interesting.

I wonder which will be "wrong"

Great comparison shots, thanks for posting.
One thing that looks weird on the McLaren is how close the front wheels are to the front wing! It doesn't look like the wheels can turn without hitting the front wing! I suspect that wing is an early design and not one that will actually be seen on a track.

Talking of front wings, the new ones seem more bonded to the nose. On the previous ones, the wing was 'bolted' to the nose so if it was damaged only a new wing needed to be bolted onto the nose. It looks like if the new wing is damaged the whole thing including the nose needs to be replaced. So new wings seem much more expensive to replace?

    An analysis of the McLaren:

Still not sure front wheels can actually turn.
