Meh, shame as I liked the bloke but it wasn't working. Still think the vast majority of the playing squad need bombing out too.
True. The new manager needs to be appointed very very quickly. Before the leeds game would be our best bet. Mark hughes SOD Di Canio Karl Robinson any of the above
Sean O'Driscoll would be good. Hopefully there was a list of transfer targets drawn up already as we desperately need some reenforcements in defence. Di Canio would give the players a shock and a half! Would be awesome but doubt he'll leave Swindon.
As much as wanted him to succeed, I could not see him staying, I said to my wife during the game that even if he kept us up this year to me h failed we needed to be moving on from last seasons fight. Just hope the board don't keep Tony Doc on now as I always think the assistants are partly to blame with the training set ups. And also found out today that Craig Levin was bought in to help with defensive training this week. If today's showing was down to his training he can **** off as well. Poulo Di Canio for me
Cant see him leaving Swindon no, I cant see us staying up but just over the moon he's gone. Was needed just want to know why they give him this long into januray. Will definitely need someone in ASAP would any of you have GJ back?
Won't happen I think. Genuine chance of play offs with Yeovil, would be a fool to jump ship given the present circumstances.
Blimmin hell that was quick, I liked the McInnes but it was bound to happen, SOD I would like, no chance of Di Canio he'll stay at Swindon
Decent enough bloke. Decision for myself came months too late, hopefully this will lead to an upturn of support off the pitch which was unlikely if Mcinnes had stayed.
I was excited when we hired him - young and hungry with a good track record up north. I was also excited about the recruitment plan announced by SL earlier this month - again, young and hungry. Given some time, maybe the latter will pay off but clearly the former has not panned out. It's not that we're losing, it's how we're losing. Every game is the same - soft goals but nothing has been done to address this. At least the board have acted with 3 weeks of the window still to go but this puts enormous pressure on getting someone in who can very quickly assess the squad and try to improve it. SOD for me - knows the division and plays attractive football. DiCanio would certainly be glamorous but he's a wildman. At least he wouldn't suffer fools though. Definitely not GJ - half his bloody family would be back here like the hangers on they were before.....
**** you know what will happen now, Fontaine Pearson and ****ing Kilkenny will put a few decent games together and the new manager will think they are the bees knees
I thank him for keeping us up last year but this couldn't go on. Thanks McInnes but we now open up a new chapter
If they do suddenly 'remember' how to defend that would actually piss me off even more. They deserve a lot of the blame for where we are.
