Went to the Rotherham game with my mate Dave ( this is not Ali G, though what I'm about to type next will get eyes rolling and think it is Ali G ) !!!

Anyway, I am kind of part of the South West supporters group now. When the games are on sky around 20-30 of us ( if not at games ) go to Totos in Bristol to watch the games.

Back to my original point, Dave told me he got told by a guy at the top of South West supporters group and with big connections ( apparently ) of the club that the fees being printed for McGoldrick/ Mings were somewhat off the mark.

Anyway, he's adament he's been told we rejected a fee rising to £12 mill for McGoldrick, and one rising to £6.5 mill for Mings.

Not a wind up. I said " we should have snapped their hands off for McGoldrick " - just came to me when bored at work. I was in a state of shock.

It's all water under the bridge now... McGoldrick isn't worth Tuppence the way he is playing at the moment!

Am I right in saying McGoldrick has one year left on his deal this summer?

I think with the new tv deal should we sell a couple this summer the fees could be rather large.....!

Has he really been as bad as people say? I was at Saints away 1-1 and he was very good. He was also decent enough at Rotherham last time out not helped by no movement. McGoldrick needs runners.

He's gotta be sub Sat though unless Mick goes mental and plays the 3 together............. Looking forward to going to Fulham for the first time sat.

He hasnt been abysmal this season but he is miles of his form of last year and still seems to lack a bit of pace. Last season he was the 'game changer' and showed a lot of creativity. This season he just seems average and no longer seems to work with Murphy. I have seen games this season when he appears to be ignoring Murphy as an option.
Personally last season I would have said any bid over 6m would be enough to persuade me to sell, on current form it would be half that.
